Contacting Patients & Log Action

What does Action Type mean?

Action Type records how the interaction with the patient happened.

The options are Phone Call, Email, SMS and Other. Phone Call is selected by default.

Good to know

Action Type describes what your team did. It doesn’t change the treatment’s status, and Markwell doesn’t send the communication.

What does Log Action do?
Log Action records a contact with a patient about a treatment plan, and what should happen next.
What does Contact Result mean?
Contact Result records what happened when you tried to contact the patient.
Does Markwell contact patients automatically?
No. Markwell doesn’t automatically call, email, text or otherwise contact patients.
What should I record after contacting a patient?
Record how you contacted the patient, what happened, where the treatment now stands and the next step.
