Contacting Patients & Log Action

What does Log Action do?

Log Action records a contact with a patient about a treatment plan, and what should happen next.

It records how the contact happened, what happened, where the treatment now stands, an optional note and, where appropriate, the next follow-up. The saved action becomes part of that treatment plan’s History.

Good to know

  • Log Action records what your team did. Markwell doesn’t contact patients itself.
  • Markwell notes are for the follow-up workflow. They aren’t clinical charting; clinical records stay in your practice-management system.
