What happens when I mark treatment Booked?

When you mark treatment Booked, Markwell closes its active contact follow-up and moves it out of the daily Follow-Ups queue.

The treatment leaves Overdue and Due Today and appears in Booked — Awaiting Completion on the Follow-Ups page. It stays there until staff record what happened with the treatment.

Good to know

Booked isn’t the same as Completed. Record Completed once the treatment has been done.
Markwell doesn’t detect bookings from your practice-management system. Staff record them in Markwell.

Where does Booked treatment go?
Booked treatment appears in Booked — Awaiting Completion on the Follow-Ups page.
Why isn’t Booked treatment in my normal Follow-Ups queue?
The daily Follow-Ups queue is for active patient-contact work, and booked treatment no longer needs contact follow-up.
What does “Booked — Awaiting Completion” mean?
Booked — Awaiting Completion is the holding area for treatment that has been marked Booked but hasn’t yet been recorded as Completed.
How do I mark treatment Completed?
Use Log Action on the booked treatment and choose Completed as the Treatment Outcome.
