What happens when I schedule a future follow-up?
Scheduling a future follow-up gives the treatment plan a destination without changing its treatment status.
The follow-up date is kept separately from the status. The plan moves out of Action Required into Waiting / Future Action and stays quiet in the daily Follow-Ups workspace until it’s due. You can still see it on the Follow-Ups calendar.
On the due date, it appears as Due Today and is back in Action Required. If it’s missed, it becomes Overdue and stays in Action Required.
Good to know
- “Follow-Up Scheduled” isn’t a treatment status. The treatment keeps its current status until that changes.
- An overdue follow-up still counts as a destination, but it needs action now.
