Contacting Patients & Log Action

What happens when I select No Follow-Up?

No Follow-Up records the action without scheduling another follow-up. If the treatment already had an active follow-up, saving the action closes that follow-up and does not replace it.

After saving, the treatment plan has no active follow-up unless one is scheduled later.

Good to know

  • No Follow-Up isn’t the same as No Further Follow-Up. It doesn’t close the treatment, and it doesn’t move it to Long-Term Hold.
  • It doesn’t mean the patient declined. To record that, set the Treatment Outcome to Declined.
  • If the treatment is still unresolved, it still needs a clear next step or destination.
