Does Markwell connect directly to my practice-management system?
No. Markwell uses treatment-plan CSV exports rather than a direct connection to your practice-management system.
Does Markwell keep my original CSV file?
No. Markwell reads the CSV during the Import workflow and stores the imported treatment information it needs, rather than keeping the original CSV file itself.
What information does Markwell store after an import?
Markwell stores the imported treatment-plan information it needs, details of the import, and the workflow activity your team records.
If treatment changes in my practice-management system, does Markwell update automatically?
No. Markwell doesn’t have a live synchronization connection to your practice-management system.
Does Markwell keep previous treatment information when I import again?
When Markwell recognizes the same treatment in a later import, it can carry forward its current treatment state.
Does previous contact history appear on a newly imported treatment?
Not as a combined history. Current state can carry forward. Detailed earlier activity stays with the earlier imported record.
Does a treatment missing from a later export mean it was completed?
No. A treatment missing from a later export isn’t treated as proof that it was completed.
Which system should remain the clinical source of truth?
Your practice-management system remains the clinical source of truth. Markwell manages the treatment-recovery workflow separately.
